Service Description
The Virginia DCJS 01I Unarmed Security Officer In-Service course is the mandatory continuing education required for all registered unarmed security officers in the Commonwealth. To maintain a valid registration, officers must complete this retraining every two years before their current credentials expire. The curriculum consists of 4 hours of classroom instruction designed to refresh core knowledge and update officers on any recent changes to state laws or regulations.
