Service Description
The Virginia DCJS 40I Bail Bondsman In-Service course is the mandatory continuing education required for all licensed bail bondsmen in the Commonwealth. To maintain your license and legal authority to provide bail, you must complete this retraining every two years. The curriculum consists of 8 hours of classroom or certified online instruction, focused on evolving laws and the high ethical standards required of officers of the court.
