Service Description
The Virginia DCJS 08R Shotgun Retraining course is the 3 hour mandatory annual recertification for security professionals who maintain a shotgun endorsement on their DCJS registration. Similar to handgun endorsements, while your general registration may be valid for two years, the legal authority to carry a shotgun in an official capacity must be renewed annually to ensure technical proficiency and safety.
